A cute statue of a dog looking out over the River Ness. Looks like a great spot for a swim. There is also a nice viewing platform built out into the river.

The Wooden Dog Beside the River, the story is about the owners who had a dog the same and bought this wooden one but when the dog died they just left the wooden to rot, it was rescued at the same time Inverness Council decided to build the wall beside the Inverness angling club hut. The hut was not wanted by the anglers nor the locals but it went ahead at a cast of £780,000, the anglers cemented the dog into the ground and the locals loved it, the local paper ran a competition to name it Breac ( Gaelic for brown trout ) was the winner. The Inverness council wrote to the angling club and said they did not have planning permission but will let it go and no more statues.
