Mountaineering

Highest point of the Karwendel foothills at the western end (2192m above sea level). Great all-round view, but no Gipfelkreutz (!?), This can be found on the Brunnsteinspitze, which is 12m lower. The ascent is breathtakingly beautiful through all eco-zones of the alpine country (forest, mountain pine, calcareous grass and finally the rubble and rock zone at the top).
Great rest area, because you can sit here and have a snack while you let your eyes wander into the distance.
