Taking the bridleway along the coastline between St. Just and Trewellard, you are rewarded not only with spectacular sea views but also many reminders of the rich mining history of this part of Cornwall.

There are many signs along the way to explain the ruins, but if you'd like to delve deeper you can visit the museum at Levant Mine and Beam Engine, which is run by the National Trust. For visiting information, check out: nationaltrust.org.uk/levant-mine-and-beam-engine
