A fabulously testing low-level Lakes trail. Steep climbs, puckeringly techy descents and all at low levels - so there's little chance of appalling weather ruining things. Mind you, it can get extremely sketchy in the wet. Also, as it's low level and very popular, there will be plenty of walkers, so watch out for them!

This section is completely impossible for anyone but the most skilled mountain biker, even they would struggle. 4-5km of pushing/carrying your bike otherwise.
