Trogir is a Croatian city near Split. The well-preserved old town, known for its mix of Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque buildings, is located on a small island, connected to the mainland and the island of Bua by bridges. The 13th-century cathedral of San Lorenzo houses the Renaissance chapel of San Giovanni and offers a wide view from the bell tower. Part of the medieval walls remained intact. Always very crowded with tourists, I recommend, if possible, a visit out of season.

La Città Vecchia is the historical core of Trogir, a town on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. The city is known for its well-preserved architecture and historical sights, which have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Surrounded by a wall, La Città Vecchia is made up of narrow streets, squares and buildings from different eras, including Roman, Medieval and Venetian. The most famous sights in La Città Vecchia include the Trogir Cathedral, the St. Lawrence Cathedral and the Kamerlengo Castle. There is also a range of restaurants, cafes and shops offering local produce and crafts.
