At this extreme observation and meeting point for all bird spotters in the near and far area, you can almost always see the various species of ducks that pass through here, especially during storms, as well as seals and gray seals. In the first days of October 2023 there were a particularly large number of brent geese, lapwing plovers, but also goldcrests and bramblings to be observed. The groups do not deviate from their migratory route during storms, as is often assumed, but the Udde is a preferred orientation and intermediate resting point for many migratory species.
