If you climb down from the winter gap, you can already see the picturesque Jöriseen below you in the valley below. The largest of them is fed by glacier water - hence the milky turquoise color. On the shore you can take a break and if you are really brave, you jump for a swim in the lake.

Jöriseen
The Jöriseen are several mountain lakes in the Flüela region in the canton of Graubünden. They are located southwest of Davos at an altitude of between 2489 and 2639 meters above sea level in the municipality of Klosters. The lakes are framed by the Jörihorn (northwest), the Flüela Wisshorn (south) and the Muttelhorn (northeast). The largest Jörisee is around 500m long and 300m wide. The Jöribach flows from the lakes through the Jörital towards Vereinatal and Klosters.
