Monument unveiled on November 11, 1990. A memorial site of Polish army officers, Polish intelligentsia and policemen (at least 21,768 Polish citizens) murdered (war crime) by the Soviet NKVD by shooting in the spring of 1940. It consists of a cross symbolizing the Order of Virtuti Militari. On it, the artist placed an image of a shot-through eagle from a soldier's cornet and a braided rope. At the base of the cross, there are three boulders with the names of the places of execution. In the background, there is a wall with plates with the names of the murdered.
