VERY IMPORTANT: Stay on the paths! The plants are often so inconspicuous that you can easily crush them.
More than 20 rare species of orchids bloom in the area from April to July. Beautifully situated above the Bliestal.

If you are looking for the lounger and the crank-operated machine with animal noises:
It is located on the western edge of the orchid area towards the wetland and Pfarrer-Lindemann-Hütte on a narrow meadow path. And not where the corresponding highlight symbol is on the map.

The Orchid Trail Gersheim is home to about 30 species of native orchids and is therefore unique in Germany!

It's impressive how many different orchids can be found. The protective measures for these blooming wonders of nature are also impressive.

A highlight, also for children

Beautiful. At the right time of year there are meadows around an old quarry with wild orchids and lots of flowers.

Definitely worth a visit. If you don't want to hike far, you can also drive very close by car.
