Today, Schwarzach only exists on the German side of the border. Nothing remains of the site on the Czech side, only a memorial to Josef Oczek, a member of the Czechoslovak Financial Guard who fell here in 1938. In the 1990s, the border crossing near Schwarzach, which is now used by hikers and cyclists, was renewed.
