Hiking
Derk had moved from Klein Bekman to the Haarman farm in Verwolde. He was a game warden by profession and performed his profession on the Verwolde estate. The next resident is also his son-in-law Gerrit Jan Hoentjen (married to Johanna Oudenampsen (K.7)) and supervised the game and the poachers. The family was popularly called 'de Jager'.
