"In 1850, the lords of Diersfordt had a 1,800-hectare game gate built for hunting. Red deer, fallow deer, mouflon and wild boar live in the 350-hectare enclosure today. With a bit of luck and patience, you can watch the shy animals from viewing huts . Deer locks allow hikers access to the gate."

Wonderful heavenly peace 😶🌫️
🌳🌲 Diersfordter Forest, located just outside the city of Wesel, is part of the Hohe Mark Nature Park. In it is a well-developed network of paths.
Two tours, the stag beetle route and the moor adventure trail, can be walked independently of one another or combined to form a long circular trail.
In the early morning or at dusk, the red and fallow deer, wild boar and mouflon that live here can be spotted. In addition, two observation pulpits provide exciting views of the forest dwellers.🌳🌲💚🎨📸
