We live in Weilheim an der Ammer and I always enjoy walking and cycling along the river. There are also lots of animals to see: mallards, tufted ducks, gadwalls, teals (winter guests), coots and moorhens, goosander, cormorants, storks, great and grey herons, dippers, Egyptian geese, grey geese, ruddy shelducks, black-headed gulls and sometimes beavers and muskrats or even an ermine.
If you're really lucky, you might even see a kingfisher darting past.
