The iconic silhouette of The Bubbles is framed across Jordan Pond by Penobscot and Sargent Mountain to the West and Pemetic Mountain to the East. The shape of the mountains and lakes in Acadia is a result of glacial activity, which is showcased nowhere better in the park than from this view.

One of the most famous views in the park is this vista of the Bubbles from across Jordan Pond and the Pond House blueberry fields. Lakeside views of the Bubbles are also available from nearby walking trails.
