Eight-seater gondola lift Bad Ragaz – Pardiel since 2007
2007 - Construction of the eight-seater gondola lift Bad Ragaz – Pardiel.
Merger of LWP (Wangs-Pizol Cable Car AG) and SBR (Bad Ragaz Sports Railways) to form Pizolbahnen AG.
August 16, 1952 - Founding meeting of Bergbahnen Bad Ragaz – Piz Sol AG (later Sportbahnen Bad Ragaz SBR).
January 19, 1952 - Founding meeting of Luftseilbahn Wangs – Pizol AG (LWP).
1954 - Opening of the Bad Ragaz – Pardiel and Wangs – Furt cable cars.
In the following years, the Pardiel – Laufböden, Prodboden, Furt, Furt – Gaffia, and Gaffia – Soldanella drag lifts were built (used as single-seater chairlifts in the summer).

Panorama Restaurant Edelweiss, Pardiel (Pizol)
Lean back and enjoy the wonderful view of Pardiel from the spacious Panorama Restaurant Edelweiss with its large sun terrace.
In summer, the restaurant is located directly at the starting point of various mountain adventures for the whole family, such as the Heidi Trail, the Bettlerweg, or the Edelweiss Trail. In winter, it is right next to the slopes. Relax on the sun terrace with its retractable panoramic bar or in the restaurant with its panoramic windows and be enchanted by the beautiful view of the Swiss Alps and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley.

The cable car ticket for ascent and descent is valid for the whole Pizool. You can drive uphill from the Wangs valley station and downhill from Pardiel.
There is a free shuttle service from the Pizolbahnen between the two valley stations!
Tip: Combination Pizol with Tamina Gorge Bad Ragaz:
There are 4 bus platforms, which are well signposted. From here, for example, a bus line runs to the valley station of the Pizolbahn Bad Ragaz. It is therefore possible as a hiker (that's how we did it) to get in at the valley station in W a n g s and hike down from the "Pizolhütte" mountain station to Pardiel, and then take the cable car down to the Pizoo.Talstatuion B a d R a g a z. (Pizol ticket is valid for both mountain railways). Then take the post bus from the Pizo9lbahn valley station in Bad Ragaz to the Bad Ragaz bus station.
A little away from the 4 bus platforms already mentioned is the stop of the "Schluchtenbus" into the Taminaschlucht (single trip 6 SFR, H+RF 11 SFR, as of October 2022).
How do I get back to Wangs? Solution: There is a free shuttle minibus
from the valley station Pizol Bad Ragaz to the valley station in Wangs.
So you can combine a Pizol hike with the Tamina Gorge!
