Very dangerous as Komoot sees a bike path here after the Hochtannbergpass on the way to Oberstdorf. Just about made the descent with fully packed racing bikes. Also, in my opinion, the path is definitely not suitable as a descent for mountain biking. Severely slipped parts, which are already very tight even without a bike.

The main ridge of the Allgäu Alps runs over the 1688 meter high Schrofenpass. Broken sections are secured with steel cables and two aluminum bridges. We actually came across mountain bikers carrying their bikes up the steep pass. They were on their way to Riva del Garda. Since it had rained shortly before, it was quite slippery. But the pass was still doable.
