The path to the hut is well developed and pleasantly wide. It opens up spectacular views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. If you are lucky, you will also meet one or two four-legged mountain dwellers along the way.

You could use a bike from Vent to the hut then the Kreuzspitze would be quite feasible as a day tour ....!
