The O2 Arena sits under the Millenium Dome, built to house an the Millennium Experience, a year long celebration of the year 2000. It was turned into a live music and sports venue when the exhibition closed. It is sometimes known simply as 'The Dome'. You can climb over the top of the dome, known as 'Up at the O2' and take in unparalleled views of the London skyline and beyond.

Huge arena, well visible from afar across the Thames from the riverside walks. If you cross the river by the cable car you get a good impression of the roof construction.

Hiking

When normality has returned, it is a great experience for all tourists or locals. A slightly queasy feeling at first. but which settles relatively quickly after the first steps. It is actually very hard-wearing and stable. The view is terrific and it's a big highlight to sip a skit up there and enjoy this moment. You don't do it every day ;-)
