»The Calanque de Callelongue is the first calanque of the Marseilleveyre massif between Marseille and Cassis.
It is located at the southeast end of Marseille's 8th arrondissement, in the Goudes district, at the very end of the coastal road after the village of Goudes. Its name comes from the Provençal "cala lònga" (according to the Mistral standard "calo longo"), meaning "large bay".The area was home to the Telescaphe, a type of underwater cable car from the 1960s that connected Les Goudes to the Calanque of Callelongue.”
