Tips
A soft meadow path leads the hiker past the site of a former customs house. When visibility is good, not only the Thuringian Basin spreads out in front of the visitor in an easterly direction; the Brocken in the Harz Mountains can also be seen on the horizon. Early risers can watch the sunrise from the seated area. The light is particularly beautiful in the early evening hours.
