RheinEnergieStadion Cologne

In July 2004, the International Olympic Committee awarded the RheinEnergieStadion a bronze medal for outstanding sports and leisure facilities (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RheinEnergieStadion).

50,000 seats are available for football league games, including 8,175 standing places - for FC home games the stadium is bathed in a sea of red and white. For international matches, the capacity will be reduced to 46,195 seats. At open-air concerts - guests included Die Ärzte, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Herbert Grönemeyer, Helene Fischer and Toten Hosen - around 50,000 spectators also fit into the oval.
