It's a shame that this beautiful building is on the very noisy intersection of Prinzregentenstrasse and Ismaninger Strasse.

The Villa Stuck Museum is located in the Haidhausen district of Munich, and opened in 1992 as the Museum of the City of Munich. Among other things, the historic studio and living rooms of the famous Munich artist Franz von Stuck (1863–1928) with his paintings can be viewed here. In addition, additional areas are available for special exhibitions.

The 1897/98 built neoclassical Villa Stuck in Prinzregentenstraße in Munich is the former home of the "painter prince" Franz von Stuck. Stuck himself designed the villa and in 1914/15 had a studio building added. In 1928, immediately before his death, he received an honorary doctorate from the Technical University of Munich for his planning and artistic achievements (Wikipedia).
