The Faltmartal is a special place to experience silence and discover plants and animals in the rocky landscape - especially in early summer. A simple farm track leads steeply uphill to the Faltmaralm, where boss Birgit serves delicious alpine dishes.
We have to go here on every vacation.

Hiking

More than 200 mountain goats and sheep spend the summer in the alpine pastures. While the older animals are already climbing around in the rocks in large groups, the young animals are still close to the alpine pastures. Until mid-June, the farmers also bring their heifers, i.e. the young cows, up there.
