There are numerous legends about the Palace of Ambite and its thousand-year-old and gigantic holm oak: one of them is the one that tells us that a young and beautiful princess lived captive in the Palace, who, while waiting for a knight to save her from captivity, left tears fall on an acorn, which germinated on earth, giving rise to the great oak.

The Ambite holm oak has been declared a singular tree in the Community of Madrid, it is over 600 years old, it is 15 meters tall and has a crown perimeter of 28 metres. Next to it is the sober construction of the Palace of the Marquises of Legarda, built in 1664 and an example of Castilian Baroque.
