The Akste refuge, located on the Kungsleden, is also famous as a base camp for exploring the Sarek National Park.

You can cross the lake with a rowing boat or a motor boat. The motor boat costs 200 sek at 09:00 am and 05:00 pm, any other time it probably also costs extra.

I recommend staying two nights and walk with less luggage to the "Skierfe" mountain top on the extra day. The view from there is incredibly beautiful.
