Around the spring there is a beautiful seating area around a "peace linden tree". If you're not paying attention, it's easy to miss the source behind the chapel.

The source was first mentioned in 1178 as Klaffertränke. The Klaffer chapel, however, was only built in 1835. It used to be considered a healing spring.
