As part of the village renewal, the course of the Holzbach, which previously ran in a concrete canal, was also redesigned in the center of Asmushausen. Open and equipped with a small ford and an Archimedean screw, it is now designed as a water playground. Directly adjacent is a new rope slide as play equipment. The converted square near the still young village linden tree now also offers a few seats to linger. Two historic half-timbered houses and newly created building sites are still waiting for investors.
