Opposite is a snack bar with regional offerings (I can highly recommend the venison bratwurst), which is open daily during the holidays, otherwise from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (May to the end of October).

Since May 13, 2010, the 39.80 meter long table from Blockhausen, which was made from a single spruce trunk, has been officially listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest table in the world. The impressive construction consists of two large planks connected with 104 wooden nails and standing on 24 pillars. This table can accommodate up to 140 people and was realized as a joint project by the residents of Blockhausen.
