The Yellow Bridge spans the pike pond. This pond was named so because pikes were once bred in it for meals in the castle. However, the name is equally related to the shape of the pond, which, with its irregular banks, resembles a pike.
In 2011, the former simple wooden bridge was replaced by a reconstruction of the bridge that stood here in the 19th century, then called the Yellow Bridge. The reconstruction is based on two sketches made in 1835 and 1843.
