Duurswold is an area in our province that is largely located in the municipality of Midden-Groningen. The region is also called the Woldstreek. The area originated from prehistoric rugged nature, which was cultivated by the first and later inhabitants. At the moment, new nature is partly allowed to take its course.
Duurswold is one of the lowest lying areas in the province of Groningen.
