On the Schläuchturm the FF Elbrinxen is a stork's nest, which was inhabited today.
Hopefully the storks will have ear plugs when the siren starts howling ... Here are some more interesting facts:

Elbrinxen is a small, still very original village in the southeastern corner of the district of Lippe (North Rhine-Westphalia). The place belongs to the city Lügde and is located in the immediate vicinity of Bad Pyrmont. A small, easily overlooked wooden sign with the inscription "To the Storks" points immediately after the sign "Elbrinxen" the way to the stork area. The approximately 2,500 m2 large, idyllically situated on the brook Wörmke green area is at times the home of about 30 white storks.

A great experience to be able to observe the storks up close. On my last visit, I was surprised that the storks were fed chicks. According to a "stork keeper", the food supply in the area is not sufficient.
