The section describes the "Old Promenade" at Lake S'Estany Gran. This has not been maintained for a long time, so that the paths are overgrown and partly broken. On the one hand you still have a nice view of the lake and canals/bridges, but on the other hand there are partly abandoned houses that are left to themselves. Looking across the lake you can see the mountains of the north-eastern foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana in the background. From Carrer de les Acàcies, the Old Promenade merges into the New Promenade.

Carrer de les Acàcies is located on l'Estany Gran, also known as Lago Esperanza or Es Lac Gran. The shallow lake was originally a separate arm of the sea near the Parc natural de s'Albufera de Mallorca, to which it is still connected by canals, but is now integrated into the urban area of Alcúdia and is largely surrounded by hotels and holiday resorts.
