Probably the most eye-catching building in the "Pink City" Jaipur. The name Hawa Mahal means "Palace of the Winds", as the sophisticated construction always blows a fresh breeze through the building. This palace was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawaj Pratap Singh for his numerous wives, who could follow the magnificent processions on the street without being seen themselves.
