After the tumultuous cacophony and claustrophobia of the Nevis Gorge, it comes as something of a surprise when you suddenly emerge into the idyllic Steall Meadow. Wild flowers bloom in spring and wooded mountainsides rise on all sides. The crowning glory is the backdrop of An Steall waterfall, cascading down from the Mamores.
