Today's Schloßberg building was built by the brewery's son in 1876 as a hall with a stage, and the walls underwent numerous changes. From 1945 to 1979 it was privately run as a traditional inn by the Luckau family Lobedan. After that, the HO (trade organization) took over the house. At the beginning of the 1980s, a new toilet building fell into the unexplored interior of the ramparts and only a little later the east side of the hall slid down. The building could not be used for almost a decade. After extensive refurbishment and extensive conversion work, the long-awaited reopening took place in 1994. With the preparation and follow-up time for the 1st Brandenburg State Garden Show 2000 in Luckau, the Schloßberg experienced happy times again.
