Ingendael
Where the Ingendael nature reserve now lies, potatoes and beets grew 25 years ago. After the purchase of this area in 1996, the development of a natural stream valley landscape began. Grazing with Galloway cattle and Konik horses has created a rugged and varied terrain. Mostly open, but hawthorn scrub can also be seen in various places. On the north side lies a depression that has developed into a marsh. Access to the area is permitted throughout, a beautiful example of natural habitat.
