    The Classico from Mazzo via the Strada del Mortirolo. Narrow and steep, the little road stretches skyward. The curves are numbered, which helps a bit with mental conditioning. Ramps up to 18% in dense forest. In summer, the heat is sweltering and there's barely a breath of wind. But if you don't like that, you probably wouldn't even consider riding this pass.

    Just below 1,600 meters above sea level, the road meets the main road from Grosio, which is significantly less steep. Now it's time to push the last three kilometers up the wider road to the pass, but the hardest part is already over.
