On some maps, there is a viewing tower nearby. Unfortunately, I missed it.
The road south, towards the causeway and the 202 GreenVelo connector, sandy but you can find solid ground.
The GV202 itself is very friendly.

As for the observation tower - the maps were telling the truth, because there was a tower here. Unfortunately - it was destroyed and dismantled a few years ago. Driving towards the bridge from the south, about 100 meters before the bridge, to the left of the road there are concrete foundations (maybe I'll find photos...).
