A ski hut was built in 1977 at the end of the former ski jumps. After the last jumps on the Rauener Waldschanze in 1988, the hut and the ski jumps were in danger of falling into ruin. The home club observation tower Rauen e. V. saved the former ski hut from this fate and set up its clubhouse here. The "Baudenstammtisch" takes place there every 1st Thursday of the month, to which non-members are also cordially invited.
