The Latemar Hut (Rifugio Torre di Pisa): or Latemarhütte, sits like an eagle's nest on the ridge of the Cavignon peak at 2,671 m.
The only staffed mountain hut in the Latemar Group gets its name from a sloping pinnacle about 20 m high, located 500 m from the hut, which is strongly reminiscent of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The hut is a very popular destination for day hikes and also has 34 beds in dormitories.
