Kleines Spießhorn Viewing Platform

Very nice viewing point with a successful platform.

There is a "Ferngals" which shows you the surrounding mountains with height and distance.

They are a bit hidden and are not real mountain peaks, but when hiking you can read their names on the signposts. So it says once "Am Kleiner Spießhorn, another time Spießhorn.

The easiest and quickest way to get to the "Spießhörern" is directly from the Krunkelbach-Hütte mountain inn.
The viewing area "Am Kleinen Spießhorn" (1,330 m) is visible from afar: a large wooden platform is set up there, including a sky lounger and viscope. With the intelligent telescope, no summit remains unknown: when you look through it, it automatically displays the names of Black Forest and Alpine peaks.

From the "Spießhorn" (1,349 m), almost surrounded by forest, you have a beautiful view of the Menzenschwander Valley from the viewing pavilion. Sometimes the dome of St. Blasien Cathedral shimmers in the distance. It is one kilometer north of the “Am Kleinen Spießhorn” rest area.
