Hiking

The Ludowinger spring is located in the spa gardens of Friedrichroda. It is mined from a depth of 58 m. It owes its name to the Thuringian landgraves, the Ludowingers, who once founded their house monastery at the source.

Running

A particularly valuable healing spring characterized by its high mineral content. The mineral taste is noticeable, but not disturbing. The spring house is not always accessible.
