From the dam you have a picturesque view over the lake and the mountains towering behind.

Reservoir with a large dam. Below (accessible via a staircase) there is a hydroelectric power station. At the western end of the dam there is also a flood overflow, into whose creepy black gorge you can see.
Anyone who has followed the Wehra downhill can already perceive the transition from the energetically bubbling river to the reservoir because the noise that has accompanied them all the way suddenly stops.

Impressive dam. When I was there, the water level was very low. It was interesting to see the vegetation on the water's edge, which is otherwise under water.

On the side facing away from the dam you can also go swimming.
