The Cancano and San Giacomo lakes are two artificial basins located at 2000 m asl. The blue of the sky and the intense green of the surrounding vegetation surround the blue waters of the lakes, embellishing the landscape and making it extremely suggestive.
The dams were built between the 1940s and 1950s and are still functioning today. The waters of the lakes feed the Premadio hydroelectric plant.
