The Blomenburg in Selent in the district of Plön is a hunting lodge from the mid-19th century. The castle - after the regional definition rather a mansion - was built for Count Otto von Blome. The building is considered one of the major works of historicism in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The building served as a youth and education home for hard-to-train teenagers. In 2019, the center of a psychosomatic private clinic of Asklepios Kliniken is to be opened here.
