The saddle between Krn and Batognica is called the Krnska skrbina, and in its surroundings you can observe a wide variety of objects from the period of the First World War. Although the ravages of time and "human erosion" have taken their toll over hundreds of years, there are still many remnants of exploded shells and other military equipment in this area, testifying to the extraordinary dimensions of warfare.
