    Hiking

The refuge on the ledge called "Köpfchen" stands on a historical site. There was a residential tower with a floor area of around 19 by 20 meters, which was probably built as a "counter castle" to Lindenfels Castle in Baden at the time. Not much is known about this small castle complex - but it is known that it was demolished again towards the end of the 13th century.
The neck ditch hewn out of the stone is still clearly visible.
The hut, on the other hand, offers some protection when rain is approaching.

    Hiking

The short ascent is extremely worthwhile to stop on the bench at the refuge and let your gaze wander over Lindenfels Castle and the historic town center.
