Hiking
In 1649, in order to be able to supply Fontaine du Griffon (the Griffon Fountain) with water, the city requested and received the excess of water destined for the castle. The fountain was completed in 1664. Charles Paris d'Orléans and his brother, during a visit in 1668, used this fountain to pour wine instead of water at festivals. The fountain used to be in the middle of the crossing.
