The Fragnée bridge escaped the First World War, but it was a victim of the second German invasion. After the war, it was rebuilt respecting the original plans. The reconstruction work ended on November 4, 1948. We took advantage of the reconstruction to widen the bridge deck, increasing its width from 16 meters to 17.20 meters.

Be careful, the bridge has a bus/cyclist lane in each direction but they are used by motorists who turn towards the platforms instead of continuing straight.
