Starting at the Kurpark in Bad Schandau, you climb up the wide, easy-to-walk stairs in a zigzag pattern up to the Luther monument. The Luther Trail then continues to Pauls-Ruh, a vantage point with a bench above Bad Schandau. The path continues to Ostrau and branches off before that, from the path to the historic elevator and the lynx enclosure. At the historic elevator you then have the opportunity to stop off in the Sendigbaude.
